Of course, kill the monkey route is the pointiest route. You can easily get extremely high points in it, that is. Clear characters, beat Masamune, collect 30K troops, have end-game point skill on everyone.

Time is lacking in all the other routes.

Senhime benefits from every stat. Having 9999 is not overkill for her. As a foot soldier, there's plenty of useful upgrades. She has high level cap so +2 to level is useful too. And you need to get her to love if you don't want to fight with her every round.

All these combined simply make Rance's Love on her an attractive deal.

Note that normal foot soldiers don't benefit from ATT that much, since they do low damage. Senhime has some mystic extra damage thing that isn't shown anywhere.

A good tip to getting her to love is to stick the Immortal Fox Charm on her, give her one troop, and send her to battle. Easy way to lose three battles and no chance of her dying.

Actually, Ran is better on 0-2 star because you don't need to conquer the entire map. On 5 star, you can capture 1,000 unit troops by about turn 5, so you get to use the permits almost immediately and and it becomes faster to conquer everything than it would be to clear Ran.

Senhime is a pretty mediocre character and not really worth the hassle needed to clear her in my opinion. Even if you want to use her, there's no real need to clear her since you most likely are going to fight every turn.

It's mostly the approach many have to posting about the game. Relating to yourself and your discovery of the game in any sense garners hate. It happens in any case where you relate to yourself and your own experiences, really. Most who have played the game have gone over a honeymoon phase with it, and as such, everyone already knows what most "I played rance for the first time and it r0x0rd my b0x0rz"-threads will contain just from reading the first post. People want new angles, and most of all, ones that do not revolve around a different person or even someone's personal experiences with the game, but rather just the game without the peripherals.
