So we all know thrown bolg has a knack for piercing shields.

What will happen if another NP is used not to block it, but to intercept and destroy it (e.g. Excalibur, BP Caladbolg II or Enuma Elish)?

Another weapon ? None that I know of, a shield perhaps, but even then it would depend on whose deus ex machina is stronger.
Gae Bolg hits the moment Lancer decided he wants to pierce his target, so no shield or wall or anything will stop it, unless that "something" has the power of countering fate, Luck for example.

well in F/UC when Bazett uses Fragrarch laser counter against thrown gae bolg, it actually avoids the laser and hits bazett's heart, but lancer also has his heart pierced

Will most likely avoid it 'flight/attack' has already been initiated for most attacks.
It takes overwhelming magical energy to stop it via brute force.

You'd need to have something that can alter fate as well, probably with greater "mystery"/power. Like Gungnir which always hits period.

The moment Gae Bolg is thrust, it already hit. You can only intercept before the attack begins, or alter fate/time so that you intercepted before the attack begun.

That's because BOTH activate. Fragarach shoots through history and kills Lancer.
Gae Bolg (stab), however, inverts cause and effect. Preventing Lancer from stabbing, will not prevent the stab.

However, like >>4773681 noted, Thrown Gae Bolg does NOT home on the heart.
It homes and "cannot be blocked".

However, the more powerful effect (as Excalibur most CERTAINLY is) may/will eradicate it entirely. The effect is then disregarded, as how can a curse take place with nothing to do the cursing?

He didn't have the prana, he had to re-absorb a considerable amount from Caster if he wanted to do so.

Furthermore, Lancer would've just Gae Bolged again. Nothing in UBW could stop Gae Bolg Stabberific.

Archer couldn't block gae bolg consistently but he certainly hasn't been using the most of the offensive abilities he had.

UBW is NOT like Gate of Babylon. It drains a whole load of prana to cast wave upon wave of swords outside of the Reality Marble, and maintaining a Reality Marble in and of itself drains loads of prana too.

The only modifier in their stats is the Agility A+ on 4th Lancer's part and Mana D, lining up against Agility A and Mana C to 5th Lancer.

The difference in Agility probably can be made up with Runic magecraft, like the runes Bazett uses.
