Is Duolingo really that bad? I’ve been using it for a little bit and so far I think it’s pretty damn good for tuning your ears to pick up Japanese dialogue since it has different people saying the same thing in different voices and in different ways. I’m only on Section 1, Unit 5 though so I’m still in the beginning. I also don’t just blast through everything but instead have them repeat phrases until it’s further cemented in my brain, at least more so than it would with just typing in the answer and moving on
