for all we know the hakurei shrine never had any real bookkeeping and things like the hakurei god's name were passed down orally, and maybe the previous shrine maiden died before she could pass it down. The shrine isn't actually in a state of disrepair constantly anyway, I'm not sure it's ever even been mentioned to be in bad shape physically apart from tenshi knocking the place down and yukari knocking it back down to remove the keystone inside
her money troubles are because she's excitable and gets caught up in a scheme that usually succeeds and makes her a bunch of money quickly, but quickly grows out of control and she ends up back where she started.

Can't have been Yukari unless she used an intermediary the entire time (can't be Ran or Chen either) because Reimu only meets them for the first time in PCB. Reimu must get her knowledge from somewhere, because (as this whole conversation started off with) she knows a hell of a lot about the gods, their rituals, religious days, and esoteric knowledge like faith's influence on luck. Given that she's one of the only two characters in the series capable of talking to the gods (yorihime being the other. Merry's gap ability and Reimu's aren't the same anyway. Reimu's seems to be purely travel which is how she uses it in the fighting games and in FS, while Merry's was always something more than that and involved borders, other worlds, and general schizo nonsense. Kasen uses gates (as they're called in the demo for ULiL) and okina uses backdoors, so I've always assumed that all of the original sages had some sort of funky travel ability like that, and Reimu's is just what the ability has become over the generations since her ancestor (who I imagine was a human sage)

Any Miko can do that, so we can assume that's just an Onmyoudo thing in general in Touhou. There really isn't any reason to believe Reimu's lineage is anything special since, as has been mentioned previously, Aya's dialogue in SSiB implies that if a Hakurei Bloodline ever existed, it died out some time ago. It's not unthinkable that Reimu just happened to not recognize Yukari because PMiSS' explanation of the Spell Card Rules means the two of them would've had to have interacted when the proposal of it was created. She didn't recognize Kasen at first either, and we have explicit statements that Kasen was around Hakurei Shrine before the games, so Kasen is also a possible explanation for Reimu's knowledge. The FS/Floatan gaps are likely taught by Yukari since they aren't seen prior to that, and as can be seen here, heavily resembles Yukari's moveset in the Classic Fighters.
