My time is better spent on franchises without their rotten taint on. everything is identical to the all ages kickstarter version from 2016 or whatever.
The reason they could even implement this feature is because the kickstarter had a stretchgoal for phone versions of the trilogy, which still haven't released 8 years later. It is very obvious they just took the code from that and shoved it into the gacha instead of actually delivering on their kickstarter promise.

Compass has had a small update today. New cards themed on Bugdoll have been added and can be obtained via silver tickets until the 6th, after which they will be added to the normal card pool.
The irregular event is also back with new irregular costumes for Tesla, Delmin and Nidhogg - simply play against someone with it equipped to unlock it after a match.

For other changes, Tadaomi and Gustav have both received a bit of pizazz with updated visual effects for their animations. A number of hero tokens ta have also been buffed to offer improved stats across all levels.

As for hero balancing:
Tesla:

I finished 8 true ends before I kinda fizzled out. Overall it was a lot of fun but the produce runs take way too fucking long and it's what you'll need to do to get event points. They really need to add a way to dump your stamina quickly like multi runs or something.
