As far as oral hygiene goes, they're stuck in the Middle Ages.
Generally foul smelling food, infrequent toothbrushing and pieces of food getting stuck in the unreachable interstices of their fucked-up grill all contribute to bad breath.

Their food is very mild and so, I don't think that they notice themselves like say, you can notice some essence of garlic or onion on your own damn breath for hours and hours.

However since lots of people there go like.. a fucking week without brushing teeth or longer, it doesn't matter what you eat, the cornucopia of bacteria in your mouth will make some interesting scents for you to breathe all over everyone. Human mouths are dirtier than dogs'. Some humans' mouths are more dirty than their own fucking assholes technically speaking (different bacterial environments though, you do not want to mix that shit).
