I skimmed through that thread too, and it's pretty amazing. All the crap that would make /jp/ rage, and most of it seems to be actually written seriously. It's like /a/'s sole reason for existence is to troll us.

two reasons:
1) they don't flame meta threads and attention whores.
2) you put entire topic on a single thread and mainly good things come. you put entire board on a single topic, and people start to look deeper into things.

I posted based on what i show on the thread that was linked, where it started kinda good, without flamings and such, just people lightheartedly and naivly discussing touhou.
