I feel I'm going to get a beating, but I didn't like Hikaru that much. She's awesome when she's not all serious business, but that doesn't happen that often. She has a really nice background and raison d'etre, but she still acts as another villain bent on destructing the world.

And Ginsengou isn't even a villain if you think about it, she's simply a dream with just one desire and she acts upon it like it's an instinct. That's the main reason the curse doesn't work on her, I don't think you can define that as evil.

And yeah, I have more confidence saying that about Sorimachi or Doushin or Wolff or Shishiku. I concur, her appearance in chapter 4, her fight with Ichijou and the dream manipulation scene were damn awesome, but when she's serious, she behaves like some kind of genderbent Sephiroth. This is where I finally get my beating.

And what you don't seem to fucking understand is that it's the character's actions, not morals, that influence alignment, which can be a major problem for paladins.

His morals can be whatever the fuck he wants them to be; the moment that Kotomine started to willfully commit evil acts, he lost any right to be described as a paladin.

Kotomine is as far from being a Paladin as you can possibly be. The man causes people to suffer because it is intellectually stimulating for him to see people writhe in their own sins and incompetence.

He also backstabs people all the time. Paladins cannot backstab people or renege on agreements. It's against the Lawful alignment they have to have.

Did you bother to read through F/SN at all?

1) Servants match their master's alignment ONLY if the summoning ritual is done without a catalyst tied to a specific hero.

2) Gilgamesh is the 4th Grail War Archer, summoned by Rin's father via the first snake's skin. He survived until the 5th war due to being exposed to the contents of the Grail in the 4th war. He works with Kotomine as releasing Angra Manyu is the easiest way to judge what humans should be left alive for him to rule.

3) Gilgamesh really should be called Lawful Good but whatever.

Gilgamesh does whatever strikes his fancy, for whatever reason he wants to, anytime he wants to, and doesn't give a fuck about what he was actually trying to do in the first place, if it's amusing enough. He also contradicts what he says two seconds ago and does it anyway.

He's chaotic. Even if you dictate that he's king of all things, he's capricious and whimsical. It's like calling Loki lawful just because he's a god and can define his own morality.

Even if he set his own rule you couldn't really call him lawful as he (perhaps not often) can decide to change them at a whim, and as he rarely abides to the will of others.

Corrupted Gil might be a tad more crazy than un-tainted Gil, but his core is still Chaotic Good in it's essence.

And yes he did lots of actions that are generally refered to as evil, but he did so for the greater good, or at least he thinks so.
If we were to take one of the more extreme and well knows characters that are usually refered to as Chaotic Good, Kira from Deathnote comes to mind, he killed thousands, he murdered people, lots of them not giving them another chance. He was confident in that his own judment was the best and acted out on his own belief, Gilgamesh is in a way of the same mindset, only that he backs up his position with his title of king and divinity.

Do keep in mind that he was not acting for the greater good. HE WANTED TO BE GOD OF A NEW WORLD and eventually kill people for even minor offenses. He gets this revelation in the first episode.
