These products are marketed to conflicted wannabe crossdressers who desperately want to dress up, but for whatever reason their mind is stopping them from compromising their masculinity. So they see something like this, it reasserts "hey, these are female clothes, but they're made for men, just like you!" Because it has MAN in the name and is marketed at men, it makes them feel okay enough about it to place the order, where as they would've just chickened out for the umpteenth time if it were Victoria's Secret or whatever.

why don't they make a girdle for men? something like a full shirt made of a material like spandex that flattens the chest and belly or at least shapes it better. give the illusion of a somewhat well-toned body.

wouldn't work for seriously heavy guys but it would be great for slightly pudgy guys like myself.
