Hey /jp/ which char do you play in online matches?

I think Marisa and Reimu are a bit owerpowered, cause of PEWlazors and orbs fukken everywhere.

Reisen and Aya are also good to put pressure on oponents.

No. It's because their spellcards are on the screen for fucking ever so you can't clear them by just using your own spell cards. Once you get to a certain point, both sides are just constantly casting cards until someone does something stupid and dies.

Komachi and Sikieiki are overpowered solely because of their insane EX attacks, but their spellcards are pathetic. On the flip side, Reimu's lvl 2 and 3 attacks are just ridiculous at high levels because they get on you so fast and the gaps to move through are so small (plus getting crushed by Reimu's balls is always a problem). Marisa is more of just a pain if you're not good at vertical dodging for when the lasers trap you; once you know how to dodge her lvl 2 and 3 attacks she's not that bad.

Personally I use Mystia, unfortunately she's horrible against the AI so I basically have to wait for the AI to kill itself in any solo play. She's pretty good for spamming lvl 2 attacks defensively though, because her bullets will usually get destroyed while stationary so you don't get them reflected back at you at lightspeed (as happens playing as Aya)

Cirno freezes the bullets then sends them in random directions, i.e. Perfect Freeze. I still don't see where the idea that she's overpowered comes from... I always see people asking why she is OP, but I've never seen someone actually say she is in the first place. She generates more EX attacks than most characters and is certainly effective when player-controlled (especially compared to what little you see of her in Story/Extra when she goes down before things can get tough), but not overpowered.

The only thing I can think of is that we're not using the same port. The default for me is 7500 since that's what I use for meltan and iamp. If that's not it, I dunno. Since I just tested connecting to someone else and it worked when we both used 7500 as the port.

I'll make one attempt at hosting, I couldn't get it to work before (people could connect to me but Adonis would close without launching PoFV after I finished the setup)... tweaked some firewall stuff but then only ever played as client after that so I don't know if those tweaks fixed the problem or if the inability to host was unrelated.
