I really like the way beetrain can portray emotions without making the typical huge exaggerated animu expressions / blushes / sweatdrops / etc. Of course, it doesn't work well with out of context screencaps.

It was fucked up. The 10th and the 11th eps were the worst. People normally die when they get shot and drown in the ocean.
At least Beetrain stopped trying to be overly creative after that and actually put effort into the show... until the ending. Well, it's still one of the better adaptations out there.

Also, who else disliked Ein's character design in the anime? I hated her colorful face, because her character was it's total opposite. I also missed her pale skin, which really hit me in her ending.
