OK, what is the trick for Satori's teleport card?

I figured it was like Perfect Maid in that I just had to wait for her to do a "nice shot" circle, but it just never happens and then she jumps away when I try to take a picture. I figured what I had to do was back her into a corner but then she just teleports to the other side of the screen and trollface.jpg.

Also Satori recalling Seamless Ceiling of Kinkaku-ji really is.. urgh.

I'm stuck at 4-2 aswell, I just suck at dodging bullets that cross each other. Sometimes I can see the pattern and dodge them without hardly moving at all but other times the bullets come at you as an inconsistent line. Ayas high speed even when focused just makes dodging even harder, not to mention it's hard to get close enough to take a picture.

So I cleared the spoiler levels and got hitate.
She has a wide angle lens it seems.

I still haven't finished 6-3 or 3-4.

Also, if anyone has replays of this card I'd like to see them. I managed to clear it with Aya and nearly did it first time with Hitate, but I'm not sure if i'm doing it the easy way (actually, Hitate makes it almost trivial with how fast she charges).

Still can't get it to actually take screenshots when I hit the button.

My fingers are getting numb and probably will get blister if I don't take break.
Seriously how do you guys do it? You guys can just beat all these casually without much effort. Am I just missing some talent and reflexes?
Does playing on a keyboard matter? Is it easier with joypad or gamepad?

STB isn't something you can just ad-lib like all the normal Touhou games. You have to spend a while looking at the patterns and figuring out a plan of attack and then practice that instead of just rushing at it and retrying every time you die.

it just takes practice, like anything. as long as you've got average reflexes then skill can do the rest. people who are good at touhou have been playing for years typically, so they build up a lot of general skill which applies to all games in the series (minus the fighters etc).

as for keyboard/gamepad everyone's different. try both and use what you like best. one isn't naturally better than the other.

Completely different playstyle, much more aggressive than Aya.

She trivializes many spellcards because of her ultrafast charge speed. Also, the shape of her pictures is longer, but less wide than Aya's.

Her big flaw is that you can't really move your focus when you're taking a picture, which forces you to stay dangerousely close to the enemy when you take a picture.

I think I hit the Touhou wall. This is probably my limit.
Can't beat 5-2, 5-6 and 5-7.
I think I can't danmaku enough in 5-2 and I don't know how to dodge bullets from behind for 5-6. 5-7 is just too quick for me to do anything.

Sure but I don't know if it will help.
From what I have seen in 5-2 it is pure dodging skills.
In 5-6 I think you need to snap a picture and quickly go below Murasa but I just cant seem to be able to do this.
For 5-7 I am just too slow to avoid the fist and dodge the bullets at the same time.

STB's themes are all too MoFish, not that I disliked MoF, but the trumpets really become repetitive after lots of tries.

DS 1st track is MoFish, 2nd track is SAish, 3rd one really gives awesome and fearsome Oni+Ooku vibes, 4th one is a goddamn eargasm, mixing Satori, Kanako, Suwako and Byakuren's themes just perfectly.

I think the game could have been more user friendly.

I swap my camera angle when near death due to death bombing tactics. I try to take shots when not at 100% because I do my usual strategy of looking at the bullets and not my character. Not to mention the triple speed system often get me an unfair death because I was hoping to move away but forgot how slow you move while charging.

Of course it is just like the first, so if I were more used to that it would be easier. Just saying that more than half my failures are because of poor controls (in comparison to what I'm used to)
