6+ hours at 48C and it was HOT initially and stayed near body temp for almost 90 minutes

heat transfer is faster the larger difference there is between your heat source and your target, but the buttbox design can't safely go over 48C or I'll burn myself removing the toy
with an electric blanket I would be concerned about hot spots possibly melting the toy. I tried the rolled towel thing before, and that was OK.

I don't own any full sized TPE dolls, I do own a 90cm Irokebijin TPE doll, and used to own a ton of TPE onaholes, hips, and oppai toys. The soft silicone on the expensive brand dolls are soft enough to be comparable to TPE. Between Gynoid, Tayu, and Bezlya, I think there are subtle differences, but they are satisfyingly soft. I personally won't go for TPE dolls because they don't look as good as silicone, and have other weaknesses like greater susceptibility to mold, paint washing off, and greater weight. Tools like Motion Tracking Funscript Editor and Funscript Generator handle a lot so you just need to insert your song or drag lines to where you want it to monitor the movements in a video scene - you can adjust settings so only the bass in songs causes a response for instance.
If it make the script too “weak” or the opposite then there are tools to adjust that for you too.

I own a Handy (v1.0, the ones being sold now are all the better v1.1), Fleshlight Launch, Kiiroo Keon and a telescopic FJB27.

I'd rank them as Handy/Kiiroo > Launch >>>> literally anything > FJB27 because the last one can rotate very harshly even with plenty of lube; some time ago I saw a video of why combining a fan and a fleshlight is a bad idea and so I’d only recommend piston movements or things that have limited rotation.

- Fleshlight Launch is huge, a little less supported by standalone programs and doesn't like standing up on its own.
- Keon is about right size-wise and stands up, to me the battery could be better and I wish it could display more battery level indications.
- Handy seems to be quieter as far as desk vibrations go when seeing if any noise travels downstairs; otherwise its main benefit is using with other strokers that don’t fit the Keon / more speed and distance customization.

I recommend a desk mount for the Keon.

There are a number of games with support for these type of devices built-in, some you mod or can try hooking to add support to (Koikatsu mod for instance) but there are over a hundred games.
Some dlsite audio files have been coming with scripts for these type of devices and there are I believe ~four games on Steam with support.
There’s a surprising community of script makers and I think on /h/ some fap-hero or hmv threads have scripts or one of the torrent packs with a few thousand videos with them.
XTOYS is a good place to check out as well as EROSCRIPTS.
- Intiface Central lets you connect many toys to other things such as the ScriptPlayer video program to watch and sync with toys it doesn’t natively support (e.g. Keon) in about ~3 clicks.

Things have gotten easier than when I started with these the Launch.
Some of the funscript generating programs have file format limitations like webm not working nicely with or only handling mp3/wav audio files – also for me personally, the XTOYS website doesn’t detect either device using a Linux distro but does via bluetooth if I’m using Windows or on my phone.
As far as how often they receive updates – I’ve not needed a firmware update for my Keon and maybe one time I saw a popup when I first got the Launch; the Handy is getting an update sometime soonish for faster script swapping or something.

I can't say about remote control since I use these solo / controlled by games, videos or music; some cam sites the streamers have a code you can connect your devices to but that aspect seems still in its infancy.
I had bought a Meiki Plush doll years ago too and while it would be nice if the Handy could lift that up, I don’t think it’s quite got the strength to – maybe someday I’ll test how the motor handles.

If you're talking about the Tayu? Oral heads are usually a softer material and because of that, a slightly different sculpt than the non-oral versions, even if they're supposed to be the same head. I'm really peculiar about the way the doll looks so I went with the non-oral version. Also, the oral ver. of A6 head is smaller and was designed for the 148cm dolls not the 155cm version. Softness varies across manufacturers but they are mostly similar right now. Platinum silicone feels more like soft meat on a stick and TPE is more like soft gel on a stick. So just imagine platinum silicone as TPE but with a little more give/resistance. Silicone dolls are supposed to be more realistic/closer to actual human body in looks and feeling.

I did some significant research as I'm expecting my first doll (TPE). I had a few sleeves over the years, but they were always more replacable then a full doll. So from what I understand the procedure for TPE at least is something like this:
0. READ if your doll/whatever you are fucking has some restrictions on substances to use for cleaning and replace shit in this list with the appropriate stuff. Clean water is always safe to use. Also read if it has a recommended cleaning routine and, again, adjust accordingly.

1. Use a cheap endoscope camera from the chinks to check if the end of the orifice is properly sealed at the end. Most dolls have a sealing ball there. If it is detached or damanged then you need to repair it, because otherwise all the fluid will leak into the doll. It's also ok if you check this before first use and after subsequent cleanings. Just check regularly and whenever you feel like something is off.
2. Use soapy water (warm water below 40C is good) to thoroughly wash the hole. No high pressure tools as it can detach the ball.
3. Use clean water to wash out soap residue.
For steps 2. and 3. something like the Coeros kit can help significantly.
4. Positon the doll so that all the water comes out. E.g. use a bucket. (Sit it on a bucket)
5. Check if all the sliminess is gone by using your fingers. Also do a visual inspection for residues. If there are still residues remaining then restart at step 2 or 1 if you want to be extra safe.
6. Dry the hole. Use a drying stick or an aquarium air pump. Whatever you use the airflow will make it dry, especially airflow that will reach deep into the doll. Positioning the doll in such a way that the orifice can "leak" due to gravity also helps. (Sit it on a bucket)
7. Check if the hole is completely dry.
8. There may be nothing further to do, but some toys may need to be treated with talcum powder or corn starch to keep their quality. Check instructions / ask the manufacturer.

If you did everything correctly you should not be having any smells, but if there are any then just do the above routine and extend the time for step 2.

If anybody has some better info the please correct me if I'm wrong.
