I wonder what the best way of managing the huge mass of players in the early quests will be? There was quite a bit of camping going on for Belkun in the CB, and that sort of thing really hinders taking it easy. I suppose making sure you overlap quests as much as possible will help, but there will be so many players at first that I really don't see any way around it.

The game doesn't need to be good to be enjoyable. A group of people you enjoy playing with + any kind of pvp can make even the shittiest mmo entertaining for at least a little while.

Fairly typical for the most part, though quest rewards are very generous, to the point that quests almost eliminate the grind. Death penalties are in equipment durability, not experience. The Pran is functionally a changeable passive buff/skill set. The functions could have easily been incorporated into the standard character advancement. As it is, the prans are pretty much just there for story purposes, which is surprisingly OK, because it quickly becomes evident that the game's translator was a bro. Pic related.

The PvP is thankfully not as horrible as most, thanks to five factions instead of the normal two or three, keeping at least some sort of balance possible. The five nations all have identical copies of the maps, which is good and bad- good, in that there's never an issue with a nation having "that one brokenly awesome map." Bad, because, well, it's all the same. Most of the typical NvN stuff revolves around stealing each other's relics to gain the associated nation bonuses, or resource raids since some national actions require you to go collect things from the other nation's maps. The NvN can get large, and tend to be lag-free, at least in my experience.

In-nation fighting is discouraged by various penalties, though it can be done. The big formal event is the guild clash for the nation's leadership position.

Class: Warrior
What it does: Moderate damage, secondary tank, stuns, party buffs.
What it looks like: Guts; sword and all.
Etc: Good all-around character.

Class: Paladin
What it does: Bellow average damage, AoE taunt, numerous self defense buffs.
What it looks like: A Valkyrie.
Etc: Very hard to kill at higher levels.

Class: Rifleman
What it does: HIGH burst damage from long distance (casting times), cloaking.
What it looks like: A faggot.
Etc: Great for ganking and picking off people low on health in large scale pvp.

Class: Dual Gunner
What it does: HIGH dps from mid range (long cooldowns), cloaking.
What it looks like: A slut.
Etc: Your basic "Assassin" or "Rogue".

Class: Warlock
What it does: Nuker + debuffer
What it looks like: DARKNESS
Etc: Magic version of rifleman; more AE damage, less DD damage(?)

Class: Cleric
What it does: Heals, buffs, AoE dps.
What it looks like: Teenage girl.
Etc: Many great skills but not enough points to go around. Skill resetting is cheap, though.

There's a good chance there will be serious nation vs nation PVPing going on the first or second night.

You can hit level 30 in a day or two if you stick with a group for fast leveling.

I'm only 36, so Frenzy is pretty shitty right now. Even with Gore Cross, I can't get enough bleeders to even break even with the HP loss. I use it on large groups and then turn it off for large rooms with spread-out enemies.

That bitch from Behemoth Silver Night is such a bitch, even with Frenzy. I swear, she can use her attacks while I'm wailing on her, especially that hold one. I'll be mashing X like a motherfucker, then get a 6-hit combo string on me and die when I miss for one hit, and she just rapes me.

Honour weapons were already in the game, this isn't something they've added.

They're just statless weapon models that you transfer the stats of a real weapon to, so you end up with a notably different-looking weapon that performs exactly the same as your old one did.
