i've noticed other non-sense like this in the past as well and that only in passing*. the only thing that site is useful for to me is the rare occasions where i want to see an example of handwriting. that's why i use it today as well. i wanted to know whether there's a hook in the middle there when writing 屑 like in 小. 木屑 is an alternative spelling of こけら, 杮 where i noticed it didn't list かき persimmon as one of the meanings of that kanji.

*somewhere on jisho it says something like: "use our filters. they're powerful. like this --> #n3 #adjectives, to see all n3 adjectives" and there's a link to exemplify. if you click on it, it gives you a list all right - first 2 words were adjectives, followed by a bunch of nouns and god knows what else. powerful indeed
