Hi guys, first-time poster here. You may recognize me as DarkViperX from GameFAQs(Random Insanity, Current Events, Super Smash Bros Brawl Social Board)

/a/ kicked me out and told me to ask my question here, so here I am. *ahem*

My friend keeps talking about this cool guy named Nanaya Sheiki, and his Mystic Eyes of Depth Perception. Can you guys tell me what he's from, and why he's so cool?

Thanks.

>Mystic Eyes of Depth Perception

Are two dimensional beings like VN protagonists able to grasp the concept of a three dimensional space? Sort of like thinking in four or more dimensions for us.
The perception of depth of field would probably fuck his mind over but if he realizes his two dimensional existence in a three dimensional space he may think about exploring his additional degree of freedom. Considering current computer architectures this would put him outside of the game's boundaries.
Assuming that we inhabit the only three dimensional space, he would appear in our world, probably right in front of the monitor. As this mapping from a lower to a higher dimensional space would be ambiguous, multiple concurrent occurrences of this phenomena could be possible.
Being without his most potent hax, he shouldn't pose much of a thread. The real benefit lies in his ability to travel back and forth between the two dimensional Nasuverse and our world. As his ability stems only from his depth perception and not others attributes, other characters should be able to emerge in our world under his lead.
This would allow us to finally enjoy non consensual sexual intercourse with the maids.

If this phenomena can be observed in other subspaces has yet to be researched.

Shiki Nanaya is some kind of splitted personality of the main character of Tsukihime, Shiki Tohno

he adapted the name Tohno after being adopted by the Tohno household, but his Nanaya-self comes out everytime he sees something inhuman and desires to kill it

many people think he's cool because he's often portrayed as a major badass

you should give the game Tsukihime a try. it's definitely worth it

I'm gonna be generous and give this a 3/10. This had potential, but it could have been so much more. First of all, the grammar is too good. Add some inappropriate commas and apostrophes, remove the ones that are correct, and do away with capitalization. Add random typos liberally. The *ahem* is a good start, but add another emote or two for good measure. You weren't trying to be stealthy here, so it's best to go over-the-top. In that same vein, add some text at the end in the form of a signature.

The points you did earn were from the image and the "Depth Perception" pun. I would have granted an extra point if the image was scaled down to the size of a forum avatar.

Overall, it wasn't a terrible effort, but it needs revisions. Redo it and have it on my desk by 3 o'clock and you can still get full credit.

>> No.461727

You don't get it, do you?

The OP is not trying to be a rage troll. He's just trying to be a troll. The best kind of troll leaves little to no hints about his trolling activities, so using an avatar(not that they have them on GFAQs) and a signature would just be a waste of time.

I give this guy at least 7/10

I disagree. Trolls can be classified as "stealth trolls" or "rage trolls". A stealth troll attempts to make a post look very realistic and garner serious replies to a stupid question. This could also be called a "pure troll". A rage troll, on the other hand, goes the other direction - his post is so blatantly fraudulent and troll-centric that it garners replies about what a bad job of trolling it does. This could also be called "meta-trolling".

The OP made no effort to perform stealth trolling. If this was his attempt, then the score should be lowered to a 1/10, at best. As a rage troll, it was simply insufficient and needs to be expanded upon and earns slightly less anemic score of 3/10.

Yes, this is a meta-thread about meta-thread. So it is actually a meta-meta-thread. And that makes this a meta-meta-meta-post. Which makes the previous statement a meta-meta-meta-meta-sentence. And if the original topic had been Pokemon, then this sentence could have been a meta-meta-meta-meta-meta sentence about metapods.
