Hey /jp/ I recently completed Fate/Stay Night (Years behind I know) and I liked it a lot. I haven't played Tsukihime but I probably will at some point.

Is Battle Moon Wars any good? I know there's an English patch and I was thinking of playing it next.

Is the story coherent at all, and not just a huge cop out to throw everyone and their dog (Lancer) into a game from the Nasuverse? No.

It's SRW-style play. Some people think it's TOO EASY, while others are challenged. Your mileage may vary.

For people who can't read jap, Original Generation 1 & 2 for GBA are pretty good too, especially for those unfamiliar with various mecha series.

But yeah, SRW W is a good title that is nice and easy for beginners and also has sparkly animations and a non-clunky interface.

I'm not sure why you would play it without being familiar with any of the Tsukihime characters.

Significant portions of the game take place in Misaki City, so you'll be lost unless you read Tsukihime first.

Also, why the hell did you read Fate before Tsukihime?

I think the "Hard" posts come from the ones attempting to do Battle Masteries their first time through during the parts where achieving them aren't obvious at first and/or require a large amount of luck to pull off, especially if the characters aren't built the right way.

I did an all-masteries run first time through with Haruna. It wasn't hard at all. Just make sure you only upgrade who you'll use (except for fucking Archer and Rider. Lancer you should always use [yes that's my opinion and no better than yours if you choose not to]). But besides that it's pretty easy, and the three servant scenario can be made managable with throwing support attack on Rider and judicious use of spirits.
