Is it really Grimsokyo when it has nothing to do with Gensokyo? Might as well be an original setting because, aside from "borrowed" visual designs, none of the characters even resemble their originals. I love my canon-compliant Grimsokyo as much as the next fag, but KKHTA doesn't even feel like Touhou.

But realistically, can he write a satisfying ending that ties the various plot points, all in a single episode? He also kinda wrote himself into a corner by having the Lunarians win big time (without additional episodes, one could easily consider that "the ending"), so I can't see Koishi and Yukari turn the tables without major hax. But I do have a few thoughts about that.

Unlike fans of other fanworks, we don't have any problem with admitting the series is just a neat fanwork among many other fanworks.

Probably not, people, especially 2hu fans are very specific about how they like their 2hus are presented.
Even something minorly off of a person's headcanon can cause them to discount whatever the 2hu appears in entirely.

There is a lot of problems with this, say a lot of oc required but it could work.
