So, I'm going to Japan this summer for about 5 days.

I'm not quite the hardcore otaku, but I am a big fan of Japanese Games, Anime, and Japanese Fantasy Overall.
And I'm looking for some really good places to visit.

Any ideas?

Visit Yasukuni, go to Akihabara, etc.

Hell, I'm going to Japan for a month (late July-late August), and I don't know what I'm going to do yet. Apart from riding trains between cities..

OP, ask /trv/, they know more about this question than /jp/.

Miyajima Island is supposed to be very beautiful. Also, you'll get better responses in /trv/.

Akihabara

Stores to visit:
Akiba Radio Building(all the floors if you're interested in figures/toys and books)
Toranoana
Animate and Gamers I guess
Uh, shit. Walk down the main street (Chuo Dori) and look at all the nifty shit... walk into stores and check em out. There are some stores that sell used old games, and they're all kind of spread out.
