I've been out of the loop and away from 4chan in general for about a year, but what the hell happened to /a/?(it wasn't THIS bad before) And what are these new boards? And what the fuck happened to the Japan/General?

/a/ has been bad for at least 3 to 4 years now. And moot decided to give us some direction by renaming the board (and amending the rules page). The reception of the new-and-improved /jp/ was positive. But recently a few Anons (myself included) noticed an increase of foreigners on /jp/. Mostly from /a/.

New tripfag trying to be hipster and saying 4chan sucks when you are browsing it.

>> No.4543605

The only new boards that matter are /3/ and /sci/.

>> No.4543618

Everything has always been shitty, but in my opinion /a/ has actually gotten better recently. That could just be me, though.

Haven't ventured to /a/ in more then a year, but I don't watch anime so I can't really complain its quality.

As for the new boards I go to /new/ sometimes when I'm bored, but it's pretty shitty and honestly beyond redemption. /new/ will always turn into /politics/, which just doesn't work on an anonymous image board. Too easy to troll, impossible to tell who the trolls are, just plain shit.
