Images look good and nothing he wrote sounds bad to me. He docked off points for graphics and lack of voice acting in a modern VN when Rance X was out for 1.5 years then. Possibly the reviewer is a retard and 70-80h is inflated.

You answered your own question. They always use a number of free uploaders and 1 premium (Rapidgator). The premium rarely gets deleted and earns them money. The free links expire, get deleted and the hosts die every few years to be replaced by other shitty hosts. The only good free A-S host is Mexa but they're deleting files more often. One of the worst is Rosefile. Capped to 100kbps down, cancels the dl often and they don't play ball with JD2. Had dls start new after 80% or JD2 shows the file as deleted on host after inputting the captcha but file is alive on browser.

A-S will never switch to fast hosts like Ryuu and Hsuki do. It's a useful site that got me a lot of rare games but the ddls are shit and their forums are cluttered with dead links. I miss itazuraneko and the google masterlist.

I found yet another reason why I'm not particularly enjoying this novel: the moege part feels forced. it's really unfocused, sometimes it's a sport/chuuni novel like aokana, but with a worse cast, other times it introduces supernatural chuuni moments, which are cool and the best part of the novel (kendo is good but there are too few characters and the matches becomes boring very quickly because of that), and the dating scenes are dull and it's something I've seen done better in other novels. it's a damn shame, I like the idea and I liked the common route a lot. but it felt apart on the singular routes. I'll finish Saya's route because I don't think I have much left to read anyway.

You could try bypassing the installer by copying or extracting the game out of it.
Or you might need to use a virtual machine with older version of windows to install it.
You might also get lucky by forcing to run it as administrator by right-clicking exe and selecting "run as administrator" but that rarely works.

I'm struggling with sharkge. I like the heroines. I enjoy the multi route mystery. Art, music, voice acting are strong. It's fun to read.

Into route 3 just past 1/4 H-scenes and I can't think of anything more to happen with its story. Several action scenes, romance, loops, the shrine and more. Maybe the 3 other scenes come in quick succession but with how long they are it'd suck. And then there's 2 more routes, followed by Onee-san route and then the true route. Isn't it far too long though? 3-4 heroines would've been enough. Put the Maruri stuff in Remi's route, make Kuuko the grand route, remove Onee-san because she sucks and I want her to die. Annoying bitch.

I want to finish it but I'm losing interest not even halfway through.

I'm of the opposite opinion on sharkness life. I think you should read Remi's route first, and Kuuko's last (well, Funabori's route and the true route are after it of course.) That's how I did it when I read the title on release, and I stick by my order. I did Remi -> Maruri -> Tooka -> Amane -> Kuuko, and I think it was ideal looking back.

Touka -> Maruri is better since the reveals from Maruri spoil a lot of stuff that is questioned in Touka making the route more boring. Touka's route doesn't spoil anything important in Maruri's route. The only upside to doing Maruri first is a few lines about her visiting the library in a hurry. Makes more sense after Maruri's route.

Weird take but I think Amane is best as a first route. It's a lot more exciting and the reveals are stuff that are easy to guess already. Touka second/first. The worst thing about doing Touka before anyone else is knowing she's the canon "ex"-gf and seeing her reactions every loop in other routes is sad.
