i browsed sankaucomplex for my first time today and it was pretty entertaining, so why does everyone hate supposedly hate it?

Extremely opinionated "news", completely misleading headlines, and horrendously slow. Artefact tends to report stuff weeks, if not months and even years after stuff happened.

Well, the Nicovideo and 2ch picture improvement articles are funny, at least. It's not completely bad.

Regardless, people feel negative about SC because when someone links to it on /jp/, 95% of the time it's about one of the supposed "news" articles.

SC is a wonderful case study of how popularity affects quality. It used to be a pretty decent Otaku-themed blog where Artifact posted his opinions on stuff. Now it's nothing but a shitty "news" site that collects stories from around the web and puts some asinine spin on them. And god forbid you read any of the comments.
