Hey, /jp/, do any of you ever hold an internal conversation where one side is constantly reminding you of your failures and your shortcomings and you have to actually "tell" yourself to shut up in your head?

Unless you are a talented artist or painter I wouldn't recommend toughing through those types of symptoms.
You'll just end up shattering your equilibrium. Get the drugs, you'll feel better.

Going to a psychiatrist would be pointless. They only want money. Like me, I went in with depression, came out diagnosed with something I don't have (paranoid schizophrenia) so I cut all ties to them.

There's was an article about this on the NYTimes recently, certain types of depressed people replay embarrassing moments over and over.
Its not too far off from PTSD in my opinion.
