Unvoiced VNs are better. Some characters just can't have a voice to match their character.

As much as I dislike most of the heroine voices, I'd have to go with voiced F/SN if only for Kotomine and Gilgamesh. I first played it unvoiced, but when I first heard Gil's voice it was exactly as I envisioned it.

Can't happen with Rance because regardless of the VA given to him it would speak Japanese.

I've encountered some situations where I hear a character voiced for the first time, and the voice is fairly different from what I'd imagined it to be, but after a while I couldn't imagine the character having any other voice. For example, Beatrice from Umineko. When I first heard the voice Sayaka Ohara was using for her on one of the drama CDs, I was a bit surprised by how deep it was. At this point, though, I can't think of anyone else who could voice Beato. (And iirc, Ryukishi07 himself picked Ohara out for the role, so that's the sort of voice he intended Beato to have in the first place.)

Might as well take my time and properly answer this. My game might not have the far reaching advertising machinery or the hype due to dev sameposting and promoting (which I too am guilty to some extent but I still use my name mind you) but people have played my creation. Sure not too many but as long as there is at least one person who downloaded it I am happy. Anyway TFQ the unarchived version meant to showcase the coding and resources (as of today beginning from Wed Feb 25, 2009 10:51 pm) had 3345 downloads not including the other mirrors not much but that still is a lot of people.

And remember, no tripcode not me.
