Half of Muramasa's route is Chachamaru's route.
And Chachamaru's end is the best ending for Kageaki, personally I don't need another one but I'd sure love an extended epilogue.

It may be the best ending for Kageaki, but it basically tosses all the buildup you were getting all the damn game out of the window. No wonder it's not canon (that is, if any of the endings are canon at all).
