Do you think they ever lynch a helpless youkai when they find an inexplicably dead child? I bet some of the kids harass the friendlier youkai, and the youkai can't do anything about it because everybody is watching them, enjoying the indignities they are suffering.

The place where most of Gensokyo's humans live. Although many youkai also visit the village for the stores of use to them, they are rarely violent, so it is a carefree place.
