It's been hinted there are 'two different Beatrice' before. Kanon's body is never verified when Piece Beatrice shows up (she shows up at the end of Ep1, in Ep2, and Ep4) when the gameboard goes the whole way through.

The one Episode his body IS identified, Piece-Beatrice never shows up.

It also makes sense why Kanon's body was never found- it wasn't in the well (moving that heavy grate would be trying), it was in the one place Battler didn't look in the mansion- where Piece Beatrice was.

Not really. Bernkastel brought her in for Episode 5, and Lambda allowed Erika to be a piece on the gameboard. She continued to exist as a piece on the gameboard until the end of the sixth game, at which point she ceased to be a piece in the game. After all, Episode 6 had been said to be her least chance, so it makes sense that her piece would no longer be allowed on the gameboard past the end of the sixth game.

Though what I find really interesting is how it's meta Erika whose post-Episode character TIP is blank in Executed mode, while piece Erika still has hers. To my mind, piece Erika's Executed status being blank would make more sense with regards to Erika never having existed than meta Erika's being blank.

It works the same way. The person on the other end might say they are Jessica or Kyrie, but that doesn't make it true. All it takes to figure out who it is is a little imagination. Say it was Kumasawa. She likes pranks. Can you honestly say she's never tried a crank call before?

Knox DENIES the possibility of someone imitating another person voice.
Battler is the DETECTIVE, his point of view in EP4 is UNQUESTIONABLE. If he heard Jessica on the phone and there is no other proof that could estabilish that there was someone else in the phone, it's PROVED that it was Jessica on the PHONE.
