This is an ongoing communal story with a comedic tone. A poster advances the story by posting an image accompanied with a description or light narration. Then another poster advances the story from there and so on. Participation is open so feel free to jump in if you feel inspired to contribute.
A few rules and guidelines:
- This is an image-driven story. Advancements need a suitable image posted alongside them.
- Suitable images are usually modifications of a previous image. Completely original images are fine as long as they fit the story.
- Drawings, doodles and/or shoops are fine. Your art only needs to be good enough that others can understand what is going on.
- It's encouraged to keep images simple so others can easily modify them. White backgrounds are ideal.
- Advancements should feel like steps and not leaps. No sudden timeskips or abrupt scene shifts please!
- Please avoid gore and excess blood.

Part 2 summary:
Kyouko, in her infinite lust for bones, inadvertently sends Mokou, Myon and Sukuvan hurtling out of control towards the Lunar Capital, as opposed to their previous hurtling in control towards the Lunar Capital.
Fla--err...I mean a mysterious heroine shrouded in flames is revealed to be what flew out of the Lunar Control Tower at the end of Part 1. She proceeds to set fire to the Lunar Capital and brings Mokou and the gang back to Gensokyo.
After an impactful landing on the Scarlet Devil Mansion's lawn, the mysterious heroine is no longer in sight. Mokou and the gang are on their own and the residents are not pleased with their crater gift.
The Mokou gang prove their combat worthiness and acquire a magic book, which is used to immediately cast a portal to somewhere. Never the ones to fear adventure, the gang jumps right in.
They find themselves outside the gates of Mugenkan and now far smaller than they were when they entered the portal. The gatekeeper, Meiling (Mugenkan and the SDM are participating in a gatekeeper exchange program) is nowhere to be seen, for she was magically banished away just moments prior to the gang's arrival by Shinmyoumaru!
Suddenly the Kong bursts through the walls! And two jiangshi too! Shinmy seeks high ground for an advantage but is snapped up by a passing Remilia yukkuri.
The Kong comes in peace and gives the Mokou gang a magical wish-granting clover. Shinmy gets the better of her would-be predator and turns it into a mount. She immediately steals Mokou's clover and makes use of her new weapon: the Yuyu Ray. This weapon transforms its target into a yukkuri.
Sachiko is the first to be hit. Then the Sukuvan is made a target! With some sharp driving skills the ray is reflected off the side mirror and hits one of the jiangshi instead.
Yuuka finally steps out onto her balcony to see what the commotion on her lawn is about. She proceeds to laser the other jiangshi into eyes and ash.
Suddenly, Elly appears and a dazed Meiling is revealed to have been banished to somewhere juuuust offscreen!

I liked the sequence but I'm hesitant to be the one to bring it back. IIRC that's when things really slowed down. I think the open scenes get the creative juices flowing more freely for people.
Then again if we do open scenes we'd have to draw one for every new room and we all know how quick scene transitions are. Maybe if the scene was of the whole manor's interior? Or all rooms on the floor rather than a single room? Or maybe it would be more fun to go room by room after all and end up with some haphazardly designed manor.
Maybe a custom-drawn dungeon crawl interface. One that's a bit more widescreen on the viewport than EotB and removes the elements people will probably neglect while updating like the compass and directional keys.
Hmm. A lot of possible directions to take this but which sounds the most fun?
