The best explanation I can give you is that the onahole is regularly exposed to outside air, thus losing its chemical smell, often before it even ships to you.
You've worn down the onahole so far that material that has never been exposed to outside air, in the deepest part of the onahole, is now exposed and leaking that chemical smell.
Also, Onaholes are porous and the factory will use some kind of mineral oil to keep the onahole fresh while its being shipped (this is why its important to clean the onahole once before first use). This mineral oil and whatever disinfectant they use is probably the source of the smell.
