/jp/:s opinion about this?
I started it last night, currently at the start of case 3. Have enjoyed it quite a bit so far, it is a bit sad that there is no courtroom stuff though

What's this about? I' currently at third game of AA, but i had no idea this exists.

You still do cross examinations/look for contradictions. So in a sense, OP is wrong.

Just google it and you will understand.

>>4466674
Well, yeah, in a sense I am wrong but its still quite different from the awesome courtroom scenes of the previous AA:s.

Its a game where Edgeworth is the main character. Its a bit different from the previous AA:s but not that much.
Play it anyway, it is a lot better than Apollo Justice was. (I'd rank the games something like this: PW1 > PW3 > PW2 > this one > AJ. Of course Im yet to finish the Edgeworth game so my opinion might chance a bit..)

I think you mean to say the story is not as good.

It plays the same. You examine locations for clues. Clues help you progress the storyline.

Little Thief = Magatama
Kay = Maya

etc etc

I wonder if they are going to fit in Phoenix anywhere as a cameo since around this time he already lost his attorney badge.

I dont think so, the previous games had clear ''courtroom scenes'' and ''investigation scenes'' (or whatever I should call them). Plus in the previous ones it was pure menu/point-n-click stuff, this time you have a sprite to move around ( a rather big improvement in my opinion)

Anyways,

I was thinking like how Edgeworth is playable for a little bit like in Godot's case.

>> No.4466785

>>4466734
Well they had to conclude all the plot points in one game, so it certainly can't be as epic as the original AA series. But for what it's worth, the story stuff was pretty tight - especially liked the last two cases. I hope for future AA games, they'll use an investigation system similar to this one, as that was certainly one of the improvements for this game.

I prefer the old method of investigation. You spent less time in one place. Also, the first person perspective was more involving.

I enjoyed the game, but I'd actually rank it bellow Apollo if it weren't for Edgeworth being totally awesome.

Rebuttal scenes.
>investigation scenes
Still. There. But instead of pointing and clicking you're moving around and doing it and occasionally doing the point and click at certain locations. Nook and cranny, etc.

They are all just put together for the game because as the title suggests, it's investigations. And of course there's no courtroom scenes anyways, he was just on a trip for enlightenment or whatever.

>> No.4466974

Updated version of Pheonix Drive fucking where?

>> No.4466992

Personally I prefer this system of investigating over the old version, less random poking of places

I ranked Apollo pretty low because they made Phoenix a hobo.

Just finished the last case, man was that overdrawn - seriously, if I see that suspect's troll face one more time...

Overall it was alright though, but I wonder where the series can go next.

My gosh OP, are you me? I started it yesterday too and I'm also on case 3.

I like it so far, but the Logic connecting stuff is kind of silly.
