The problem with Fairies and Goblins not being a real threat is that I believe it would leave the mansion too barren. Succubus Prison is fine because it's a small space, but the SDM is way too large to have Sakuya be the only real danger outside of the other's designated areas (library for Patchy, garden for Meiling).
Maybe at some point you have to visit the basement, freeing Flan and she too can hunt you on the hallways or something.

I think Flan works better as a regular threat, something more vicious to deal with, perhaps she's the one you can actually escape once she spots you if she's doing it for fun. How about randomly you'd start hearing a countdown and you gotta hide from her playing hide n' seek.
A more fitting final obstacle in my opinion would be Remi. Say during the entire day she was merely observing, perhaps playing the cunning mastermind, even helping you on occasion, but as the final hour approaches and you are nearly out; her patience snaps, she's taken your survival as an insult to her and she cannot let you leave, so she hunts you down savagely to save face.
I believe it'd be pretty climatic to see her like that before finally escaping
