So, how did you get into Touhou and when?

Bonus points if you did not find out from 4chan, an IOSYS flash, a dojin/fanart, and actually were interested in the games.

As for me, I actually found out from PSO almost four years ago. We were discussing some STGs and EoSD was bought up by someone; I did my research and fell in love with the game, then the music, characters and setting and it grew from there.

"Alice loves Marisa" thread back in the heydays of /a/. Actually, if I recall, only a few people in the thread knew what Touhou was at the time so it was a combination of "this is great" and "I don't know what the fuck is going on."

You heard very little about Touhou for a long time after and then, poof, maybe a year or two later, revived with yet another "Alice loves Marisa" thread. That's when the magic happened.
