I've posted the following before which may explore some ideas relevant to your feelings after your recent foray into hag appreciation.
I'm definitely not speaking for everyone but I think I've identified a few key common areas that keep coming up. However, the stereotype of East Asian women aging well exists for a reason and someone might like the genre for the simple reason that they find mature women in JAV very attractive, irrespective of age. This is probably the least controversial explanation for appreciating older women and can be applied regardless of race both in and outside of an adult or sexual context; plenty of people still find Gillian Anderson, Monica Bellucci and even Helen Mirren attractive, for example.

To delve deeper, there may also be a subversion of expectations at play. It's a biological fact that we deteriorate with age so when an older woman is aging gracefully and still manages to be beautiful later in life, she is perhaps admired to a greater degree. It is worthy of note, rare, and a trait that enjoys a certain allure and mystique. On the flip side, this subversion can even be seen in JAV where the older woman in question is no longer conventionally attractive or simply more "natural". The excitement and taboo of watching such material likely stems from the expectation that a woman of such an advanced age no longer participates in passionate sex or experiences any sexual desire at all. In less extreme cases, viewers may simply be looking for less glamorous portrayals of sex with an older woman rather than actively searching for women who are old to the point of novelty. There may also be less use (or just more subtle styles) of make-up and an emphasis on realism and candidness which may be desirable for other reasons not specific to the enjoyment of mature women but can supplement and complement the fantasy. I'd argue this iteration of aesthetic consideration to be considerably rarer, which accordingly translates to the sub-genre of incredibly old women in JAV being much rarer also, at least in comparison to the more typical "sexy for her age" approach celebrated in the vast majority of jukujo JAV.

Any subversion is a powerful feeling and partly explains why there are positive stereotypes for the gentleman who's an animal in bed, the bad boy/girl who's secretly sensitive and romantic, the woman who's a "lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets", and so on. This is a key theme and will be discussed in greater detail and given specific context in later sections.

Both angles are equally compelling in contributing to arousal. Again, it is worth mentioning the potential for the subversion of expectations here. The love and attention from a maternal figure or caregiver is typically understood as something very separate to romantic love and sexual desire. When this is challenged in the context of JAV, the contrast between expectation and "reality" provides an exciting scenario which is easily-understood even for those who don't particularly enjoy the genre and operates independently of any coercion, persuasion, reluctance, or forwardness of the maternal figure in the lead-up to sexual activity: these story elements simply contribute additional layers to the narrative for the same emotional result, at least in this context of the maternal figure.

This hinges on the inherent imbalance in the power dynamic when interacting with an older woman. This can range from more gentle iterations such as wishing to simply service and satisfy a socially superior figure to more extreme examples of BDSM and degradation play as a recipient of an older woman's humiliation, domination, and bullying, supplemented by narrative specifics such as a demeaning boss. While such positions of actual power are not solely restricted to mature women, they make sense from the perspective of both narrative and social convention and consistency. For others on the opposite side of the spectrum, the existence of this power dynamic instead provides a figure to be conquered, degraded, or defiled. Sex may simply be the final obstacle in such a fantasy of totally subjugating and dominating a person formerly in aforementioned positions of social or actual power.

More subtle variations also exist (and is generally where mine and many others' tastes lie) where the dynamic at hand is neither particularly dominating nor subservient. Rather, there is a subversion of expectations where the older woman in question is simply behaving in a way that is unexpected of someone in her "elevated" position. This might include being easily persuaded by a friend's son to have sex or directly and proactively propositioning a son-in-law to have an affair. In both cases, there is an additional layer of excitement and taboo when considering the imbalance of power and social status. Such dynamics can even be compounded with the aforementioned fantasy of the maternal figure, ideas of dominance and submission, and even genres such as NTR but ultimately, these operate on the understanding that there is a gulf between certain social roles and relationships when one party is a mature woman.

There are further levels to this that I believe are still related to hierarchy. Even in cases where a viewer understands that the mature woman is socially superior for whatever reason, she may be deficient in other areas that may be tangentially caused by her maturity and age. Whether that's enduring a lack of affection, romance, and appreciation in her everyday life or craving more base pleasures of the flesh, a common fantasy is the act of "stepping up" and providing the woman with what she needs in order to feel fulfilled. This may be a reflection of a saviour complex and fantasy but still operates on the understanding that despite society's perception of these mature women as undesirable or perhaps "untouchable" (either because of elevated status or fading beauty), they are still women with needs that deserve love and passion. Societal expectation seems to divorce lust and sex from mature women and while this is objectively unfortunate, the perceived inappropriateness of this behaviour reinforces the taboo and resulting excitement when the mature woman is, in a sense, "remarried" to sexual desire through the actions of her (usually younger) partner.

You'd want to try and find a way to spoof a browser, get it to "play the video" and spit the MPD URL out for you, and then automate actually grabbing it using yt-dlp or just using ffmpeg at that point. I'm just barely clever enough to figure out how to grab one video, and know it COULD be automated by someone actually smart, but not smart enough to actually do it.

Earlier it was common knowledge that to download a video from VK, all you had to do was add m. before vk.com, that worked with private group videos just as well. "-o" is necessary here because yt-dlp in its brilliance decides to assign a filename based on that long ass URL, which is full of several characters that are illegal as Windows filenames. It does nothing about this, so all the calls to the OS/API/whatever that write files fail, lol. When you use "-o" that way you can just assign a filename.
