Well, there's a couple options for you. You can take the "learn as you go" route where you just write down kanji you come across on flash cards and memorize the fuck out of them, but this won't be very effective for long term learning

The better method is to learn your radicals and start learning kanji one by one. This website will help you with that one: http://www.hellodamage.com/kanjidicks/main.htm

I want to read all the untranslated light novels and manga and i finished memorizing all the hiragana & katakana characters (still haven't started learning the language)
