Fate reminds me a bit to Elfen Lied.
It's a mix of cute, cuddly family scenes and extremely violent fight scenes with plenty of gore.

The music made me paranoid at times. First time I ever felt fear while playing a VN, some of the scenes can scare the shit out of you as you know you're facing almost certain death.
And then in the next minute you're staring at Saber blushing at an awkward situation.
