Featherine's red text says: "That Beatrice can never be revived"

The 'that' means Beato from EP 1-5 is incapable of coming back again. The Beato in EP 6 is a clone, just one that was given most of Beato's personality and memories.

Honestly, I can't see why Ryukishi would revive Beato so early on. It's cheap. "Oh look she's dead, but that's okay because she's back good as new at the end of EP 6!" What was even the point of killing her, only to immediately bring her back the very next game.

I doubt she'll stick around. Virgilia said in EP 3 that endless magic can't last forever - only for a certain time. Endless magic is based on belief.

I have.

The game says that Moetrice is amnesiac Beato. She gets an imaginary friend, who is the spirit of the Golden Witch (pre-game with Battler). Moetrice remembers the promise Battler made to her and a 'miracle' happens and she becomes Beato again.

except we're forgetting who regulates miracles in this game

And Beato does want to die. Virgilia explained it in EP 5 - she wanted Battler to end her life/legend. It's not about thinking a miracle won't happen. She wants to die.

I have reposted this shit too many times, but here we go.
CLUSTERFUCK.
CLusterfuck in the writing, switching viewpoints and narrative too many times, switching timelines, switching between meta and real world. Not done seamlessly.
Custerfuck of themes. Traits of a mystery, romance(which is possibly his worst thing to write), morals etc.
Clusterfuck of atmospheres. Jumping too much between drama, OVER THE TOP HAAAM, lighthearted, silly comedy in inappropriate times within the main story.
Big turn off point being the jump from episode 4 to 5 and 6. From hints about a development or possible understanding between Battler and Beatrice you get KINZO THE SECOND UWOOOH who does everything for Beatrice, and will be explained later on. So you just have to accept a logic jump.
Secondly, R07 using themes he has a poor grasp of. Logic arguments, subjectivity of statements etc, used like someone who attended a philosophy class twice. It's just bad.
Finally, R07 pandering to himself too much, pretending he cleverly deconstructs mystery settings when he just writes disjointed bullshit that only makes sense on his mind, pretending that you should argue between fantasy and mystery, when if 'mystery' is a true part of the story, it makes most of the themes and situations pointless or retarded.
Also, retroactively changing conditions and characters too fucking much, which makes following the narrative a chore.
I won;t comment on the characters themselves, it's a whole different cookie.
With each episode, he adds more to the overall clusterfuck. There.

You may just have bad taste.
You may be able to follow the narrative easier for some reason and have it make sense.
You may just like the characters and want to see what happens(focusing on interactions and the outcome only).
You may have just invented ine the first two and a half episodes where it did not jump the shark and you feel obligated to like it.

My only problem with Ryukishi is that he relies too much on the rule of cool thing.
I mean, you can't just think like "ADD AWESOME SHIT, INSTANT QUALITY" for every scene you don't know how to portray well.
Just look at the Battler/Erika confrontation at the end of ep5.

I know your heart is too dark and bitter to understand, but a reasonable person with no feelings for someone else would not feel compassion for someone like Beato with what she supposedly did and the shit she was saying about Ange. The fact that he did should tell you something. He also jumps at any chance to think she's not a bad person.

The point is he liked her before he tried to kill her in ep. 4. Ep. 5 showed that he missed and liked the person she was.

>> No.4389137

Sigh.

THE STEPS OF BEATO AND BATTLER'S WHOLE LOVE THING, PRESENTED IN A CONDENSED AND SIMPLE STEP-BASED FORMAT

Battler and Beato are rivals. Battler is both horrified and intrigued by Beatrice and her game.

They spend more time together. Beato teases Battler a lot and he likes her cowtits. Physical attraction.

Beato starts her moe act, and acts deredere towards Battler. He falls for both her and her plan, and he falls for both hard.

Because he's so incompetent, Beato's plan ends up hitting Battler worse than it would have otherwise.

Battler tries to hide his feelings for Beato now that he's been trolled. He does so poorly, and no one is fooled.

Ange shows up and is killed off. Battler is more than a little pissed off at everyone, including Beato, but he is not a total douchebag so he doesn't just say "fuck this shit" and leave the metaworld.

EP4 tea party. Beatrice asks Battler to kill her. He agrees. Beato is showing Battler her most vulnerable side, without any kind of trolling attached.

There's a chunk of time missing in between the end of EP4 and the start of EP5. Granted, you have to look at this with at the very least a neutral attitude, but Battler's been given enough time to get over the shock of Beato suddenly being cold and lifeless instead of lively and fucking noisy. Just a little bit, though. He just gets over it a little bit.

Battler truly realizes that he now feels different - empty, even - now that Beato's gone.

Sandcastles. Battler hulks out and is a fucking sorcerer now.

EP6. Battler doesn't even have a comatose Beato to sit beside any more. He's pretty goddamn crazy now. So when he tries to revive Beato and it doesn't go perfectly, he rages.

But then he gets over his rage, and while the weddings are happening, they kind of just join in. It's not the most serious thing ever.

Better now?

>> No.4389163
