Let's say you shoot a giant fireball at Yukari. Using her hax, she could manipulate the boundaries of said attack by way of division and mix it up with other attacks you throw at her. At best all Kaguya would be able to do in a battle against Yukari is defense. What point of Yukari has the ability to travel through dimensions do you not understand. If you had even a small grasp of what a higher dimension is you wouldn't have posted this nonsense. You DON'T attack a 4th dimension being -- well, in this case a 3rd dimensional being occupying 4th or 5th dimensional space. With all seriousness, a 4th dimension being with a toothpick could best Kaguya on any given day of the week. I can just imagine Yukari peeking through the fifth dimension and watching Kaguya's past, present, future, and potential actions like/as if it was a cheap 1960s flick. In such a battle, Yukari could attack Kaguya with all of her hax, but Kaguya wouldn't be able to see, let alone lay a finger on Yukari.

Alright, everybody is telling me to take it easy so I'll collect myself and be civil. Despite the fact that there's an overabundance of canon facts denoting Yukari's superiority. I will do without them. In the first Yukari v Yuka thread I started with a simple conjecture. Yukari is the most powerful species of youkai in the Touhouverse. And hopefully, this thread will conclude with the aforementioned statement.

Manipulation of boundaries != Manipulation of flowers.

Taking into consideration of *inherent* hax, intelligence, and physical power. Yukari is second to none when you compare the gap between their haxes. Do you or do you not agree with my conclusion. If not, how would Yuka defeat Yukari in your theoretical battle? Kaguya and Koishi Komeiji's hax, maybe. Remilia and Shiki's hax, close. But Yuka's hax? Her hax isn't even on par with Mokou or Aya's haxes.

Manipulation of flowers is not her main weapon, it's just an add-on.
Her main weapon is the ultimate magic. We don't know the fully extent of this power but so far we know it is:
Creation of Universes (Makai, Alice's Wonderland)
Creation of Youkai (Makai residents, Alice's Card Soldiers)
Huge offensive and destructive power.

Yuka could just create a universe without boundaries that damage her or create Youkai that are as strong (or stronger) than Yukari.

Yukari can put the strongest magical barrier but Yuka can easily surpass it by teleporting(power she had in LLS) behind it the same case occurs if Yukari tries to gap her far away.
Meanwhile Yuka can use god tier spells or just have other youkai she created to do the dirty work for her.
Yuka can also create multiple clones of herself (dual spark) and block magic with her parasol.
She is even well known for her physical strength so even if the fight ends up in bitchslapping Yuka would win.

Makai is a universe in the same sense that Gensokyo is a universe. And if we're going to put it that way than technically Yukari has the same powers. After all, it has been speculated (several times) that she's the creator of Gensokyo itself. Keep in mind that the ability to create new dimensions from a physicist point of view is almost synonymous with the ability to create new universes. Except in the case of Yukari, she can manipulate the boundaries between dreams, fantasies, and realities to create worlds from existing worlds that are theoretically impossible. Also, the existence of Makai in and of itself is more of a testament to Shinki's natural talents as a goddess than they are to her being a spell caster of some ultimate magic that Alice got defeated with on multiple occasions.

Also I'm not sure how canon that "boundaries between objects" thing is, because it's also pretty fucking retarded. There isn't a physical boundary between objects in the world, There's just a finite number of molecules in any given object, bound together into a structure. You don't just move the boundary and create more molecules, because there IS NO BOUNDARY. There's just a "lack of more molecules". There's only so far I can throw my suspension of disbelief you guys. Magic only accounts for so much until you start just deciding that whatever Yukari feels like doing involves a boundary that she can manipulate.

This is an extremely vague power that potentially could be hurred and durred into anything. Boundaries themselves are merely an abstraction, they don't actually exist. It's just a way for people to comprehend a separation between two adjacent fields.

All I'm saying is that in any coherent gensokyo not governed completely by games and fanon, Yukari's powers would most likely have some kind of limit. It's just that since all boundaries are imagined, we can simply imagine boundaries for Yukari to manipulate whenever she comes up to anything she might have trouble with. and what if her powers have limits?

In Perfect Memento it's explicitly stated that the boundary doesn't have to be physical or mental in order for her to manipulate them. Did you not read the canon definition of her powers that explicitly stated she can manipulate the boundaries between imagination, dreams, fantasies, and realities? As PM suggested, everything in our universe is made up of boundaries. And Yukari's ability to manipulate them is a power that's capable of undermining the fundamental realities of our universe. There's a reason why they said it's a power that is on par with the gods of Gensokyo. You really only have two options when debating such a hax. You can either admit you're a secondary fan and you didn't know any better. Or you can question the authenticity of Perfect Memento that explicitly stated Yukari was "the strongest of youkai" in the Touhouverse (see: Ran's description in Perfect Memento).

This really comes down to your understanding of the word boundary. A boundary is a border and a border is a limit between two phenomena. Nothing more; nothing less. There are boundaries between:

-The past and the future.
-Fantasy and reality.
-The Earth and the Sun
-The living and the dead.
-Heaven and Hell.
-The strong and the weak.
