Things got a little dicey after that when Kaguya gave him a difficult request, but fortunately, as he returned to his room, he found all the required artifacts just lying around there. Surely the gods have blessed their union and only happiness awaits him.

Right now they're working on wedding preparations, although it's not going as quickly as Kaguya would've hoped.
He keeps having to help Eirin with medicine creation, Reisen with her medicine sales, and Tewi has him help her dig up bamboo shoots, which leaves him really tired in the evening with little energy to prepare for the wedding. Kaguya is glad that he gets along so well with everyone, but truthfully, she's feeling a little lonely because it all.

She also kept noticing some weird smell coming from everyone when they got home. Kaguya asked Eirin about it once, but she explained that it must just be some effect of the recent rain and the chemicals the kappa use. Oddly enough, that night she could hear Reisen and Tewi profusely apologizing about something while Eirin said something about how "they really have to be more careful" and that "she might find out at this rate".
Maybe they're planning some kind of surprise for the wedding. They're always so thoughtful.

Things got really bad at Eientei for a while. Kaguya was crying in her futon for hours.

The empty eyes of the princess, bloodshot as she stood beside the monster with betrayal overcoming her. She had nothing to say.

And the worst part was that he did not lie. No exaggeration nor falsehood. That was her greatest shame.

"I had confessed my fears to great Hieda, as she wrote that Chronicle, in hope of solace and comfort. I found neither. She had looked at me like an oddity, and mumbled a string of irrelevant words. I was confused. I sought to know more."

The Scientist took a shallow breath.

"During this time, I began to leave the village in order to explore and soothe my thoughts. And I was attacked by a youkai in a ball of darkness. It was hopeless and I faced my death.

"But I found someone. She had red hair, a cape and a purple bow on her head. She struck down the youkai with a dazzle of light. She asked if I was okay, to which I nodded yes. It snowballed from there."

"And then I learnt what should have been a terrible truth. One night, I saw a floating head. Red hair, with the same face as my love. We stared at each other for a split second. She soon broke down, begged me to leave her. And you know what I did? I grabbed her head and kissed her. I didn't care. And for once, I was happy."

Eirin wouldn't feel a shred of guilt about capping this guy, though. From her depiction throughout Bougetsushou, it's pretty obvious that she's probably the most sociopathic and ruthless character around, to a point where she makes even the inhuman youkai look empathetic by comparison, and murdering her way through problems is a recurring thing for her. It's even heavily implied that she murdered Kaguya's adoptive family just to tie up as many loose ends as she could, which is obviously something that Kaguya must never find out about.
Trying to run a blackmail scheme on her is just about the dumbest thing you could do, second only to screwing with Yuuka or something. Eirin would probably be an outright villain in Touhou if she wasn't more interested in keeping to herself and tries not to get involved with the rest of Gensokyo unless she really has to.
Just about the only thing she would have regrets about would be her own sloppiness, as she's so strongly convinced of her own genius that she really cannot deal well with situations where she clearly miscalculated.

I'm pretty sure that Iwakasa never lived with Kaguya, and he was tasked by the emperor to destroy the elixir. Plus, I don't think the emperor got killed.
I'm not even sure how the emperor got his hands on the elixir in the first place. It's possible that he obtained it before Eirin murdered Kaguya's adoptive parents, and Eirin didn't see a chance to recover the elixir, or perhaps Kaguya handed out two doses, one for her family, and another for the emperor, and Eirin could only retrieve the first one, deciding against killing the emperor because that would bring so much heat down on them that it would be impossible for them to remain safely in hiding.
I can't see "the earthlings who lived with Kaguya" as anyone other than her family, though, given that she notably rejected all attempts to court her. There would be only one group of people she lived with.
