Skill issue, it was a fine game even if inferior to 2016.
I played on nightmare and my main issue with it was the stupid boss level design, especially with the final boss of the main game which just spams demons to artificially increase the difficulty, not the ammo/chainsaw/flamethrower stuff which you just need to learn like with any other game.
