I'm American, and I'm "rooting for" the insurgents. Our foreign policy is immoral and they are fully justified in resisting occupation. If the United States fails in Afghanistan, it's not as though we're in danger of being invaded. We just go home. Since we never should have been an occupying force in the first place, that's exactly what I want.
