Just the fact that it follows one route as opposed to a downright awful mix of them all together with bits of shameful original content, automatically makes it a lot better than their whole 52 episode anime.
So now I guess it boils down to what scenes they focus on the most, and which ones that are skipped and wich ones that are too rushed.
The anime did this terribly, they even messed up the scene with the bodies at the crypt near the end. And it was also basically this that butchered the Umineko anime, it was all so rushed so none of the characters actions felt as if they had any real emotion to them, as it was kind too rushed for them to feel anything that didn't involve screaming.

And hopefully they won't add shameful original content such as added Saber scenes or something instead of following through with important scenes for UBW.
And yeah, the graphics seems to have improved some but graphics would really be the least of my worries if it's them that's making it.

Not good as a standalone movie.
Great if you have read the VN since it animates the cool bits. Plot and Shirou viewpoints are pretty basic, but the fights and confrontations are damn good.

The worst thing you'd have to animate would be Nero, Akiha's hair, and Arcueid scenes.
