Hey /jp/, I need some help on SENGOKU RANCE.

Not gameplay or anything, but, well...

Has anyone else had this problem? I just reinstalled after a format and it's fucked up and, it's not a huge gamebreaking problem, but...

i would very much appreciate it if anyone knew how to fix

I have a question of my own. What are you supposed to use gold for? I've looked at various new player guides and they just mention replenishing, which is rather cheap, at least early on. Should I save the rest for later, or use it to increase army size?

Save the gold, because replenishing gets expensive quickly. It's also a good idea to improve the troop size of your footmen (but only AFTER you go to war with the monks, and ONLY your footmen for various reasons).

I personally spend my first gold on improving Rance's Troops, since keeping him with a superior unit far reduces the likelyhood of his unit getting annihilated, and thus a game over.

Yes, there are way too many things to do compared to the number of actions. However, you can keep things simple by following a walkthrough in the beginning. That'll take you through the basic operations of conquest, dungeons, character improvement, etc without screwing over your position in the game.
