It's a TV series, either running for 1 or 2 cours. The girl who turns into BRS is voiced by Fujita Saki, the same person whose voice was sampled for Hatsune Miku. The animation studio is Ordet, created by someone who broke off from KyoAni, so you should expect good art. The opening theme is the BRS song, done in a beta 'soft' version of Hatsune Miku program that was never released to public.

I agree with this. As cool as the BRS figurines are, I can't bare with the song, so purchasing one would just seem stupid to me. Love is War on the other hand - rock solid song, and an amazing music video.

I didn't like the original BRS. The anime one came out & I was sure to get it...

now Miku Love is War is in the making- and now I'm saying, "fuck BRS- Miku is so much more worth it". I already have WIM & the original GSC miku... & po'd VN02 as well. My only concern with getting the Love is War miku is the price tag.

It will obviously be more than 100USD. Max Factory's Miku VN02 retailed for about 128USD. Knowing that Max Factory is of a lesser status than GSC, their quality isn't as great- and the actual figure was much smaller than LiW, I'm guessing that GSC will price the new Love is War miku at around 150-180USD?

The base is symmetrical however, which means it might be slightly cheaper than expected. The paintjob for the base too will be relatively simple.

One thing for sure: I fucking have to get her.
