In most contexts, I'm not a mosaic complainer. For me, under the ordinary conditions in JAV it really is insignificant if mosaic exists or doesn't. Yes, really this is what I think too and probably would have elaborated more on other aspects if the character limit of posts was more than 5000. Surely most of us can relate to that feeling of suddenly having much more free time, yet, paradoxically much more stress too. Good point, I probably drink 4L water and sometimes even need to salt it because I cook all my own meals, eat zero junk food, and work out a lot which led to me being mildly dehydrated. Turns out my sodium was too low to adequately regulate my hydration levels even though I was chugging water all day (I wasn't replacing my electrolytes, just the fluids). To my knowledge, suplements simply include vitimans, minerals and amino acids that we get in small doses from diet but in increase doses can have more benificial effects. For example onions lecithin is just onions but contains fats that help you in various areas. Think of suplements as more nutrition without having to eat more. If you were to eat enough food to cover the micronutriants you get from supplements, you'd probably be fat.

Now as for the effect of these nutriants, they're mild but studies to document some effects. However, these studies aren't anything I've scrutinized with much detail. They exist but they could easily be conducted by the people who produce the supplements making them biased and lord knows the peer review system is a joke. So who knows if it helps people. I could help different people to different degrees, it could help some but do nothing for others or it could just be one big spook and none of it has any sort of significant effect.

A case might be made for bukkake and anal (i.e many big names still did it back in the day) but most of those other things you mention were pretty much always on the fringes of JAV and their disappearance isn't really indicative of the health of JAV overall. This isn't the rainforest where the extinction of one obscure species probably means shit isn't going well for the entire ecosystem; JAV is famously quite compartmentalised across studios, genre specialisations, and actress archetypes.

It's not that I'm not sympathetic to your situation but asserting JAV isn't interesting anymore just because extreme tastes aren't being catered for isn't really a helpful way of looking at the changes — of which there are many. I wonder what really came first: big mainstream studios like SOD and S1 phasing out stuff like bukkake and other unconventional fetishes, or falling demand in the buying customer base of such movies from mainstream studios. I also feel like there's been a shift in approach from an emphasis on the sex acts themselves towards greater focus on the actresses as idols and personalities for fans to follow, with this perhaps taking precedence over buying a product solely for the genre/fetishes depicted.

Anyways, I've always found the alleged "weirdness" of JAV to be overstated and over-reported but I guess for some people, the existence of those fringe works/genres really was the main or even sole attraction even though it was never the dominant force and certainly never the big picture.
