Nah, UBW is nice and comfy. The voice acting for Rin and Shirou is somewhat better than in the VN which combined with the added benefit of animation to really bring out the characters' personalities really makes their interactions and chemistry better and just an absolute joy to watch. Answer was also improved. And the epilogue was kino. Dunno, you can argue it's inferior to the VN all you want, those three things make its existence worthwhile.

What's your favourite modern adaptation of the arthurian legend outside of Fate? I heard Nasu read T. H. White's Once and Future King but I also heard it's kind of a ground zero for most of the problems people have with modern adaptations of the arthurian legend.

Evidently anyone who liked Fate will not have a problem with the legend being adapted in a really modernized way but I can't say I'm terribly interested in being preached at, either.

It's the power to rewrite the world to an extent. It's basically the better version of a reality marble. It's more or less all-powerful except it can't directly affect humans/animals. I think Arc created a space and confined Roa to it or connected him to one she created and then splatted him inside it. Marble Phantasm is the ability to reshape the world according to the user's thoughts. It's literally "I can do anything, please understand". Arc can not only control the elements and natural phenomena, spring forth money, chains and whiteboards out of nothing, she can also create textures, which are layers of reality with their own rules and concepts, and she can also store them, stripping the layers away like melted paint.

The stuff she does in that scene with Roa was overwritting the human texture/universe with her own universe. The human laws of physics that have been present in the world itself for thousands of years can be overwrritten by her.
That's why Arc is referred to as the "canopy covering the void (cosmos)" by Roa, as an aspect of Arc herself is covering the cosmos. This is shown in the Celestial Conception scene in Ciel's route where it's explicitly shown and stated the texture of the planet dwarfs the human universe of awareness, and it's laws are far beyond human understanding. This is also why Roa's goal is stated to have the cosmos unveiled.
It basically means that Arcueid's power encompases the cosmos and can rewrite reality far beyond the reach of human order.
