Era games are a group of (usually) Japanese-developed text porn games.
They're not exclusively related to the Touhou franchise, but it's one of the series with the most era games.

Run anchor.exe (or Emuera, depending on the game), japanese locale is advised so you don't run into untranslated text.

I just use the make portrait feature. Do keep in mind the demons they can end up with are limited to ones you have encountered and have a higher MC level than. You also can't see exactly what demon they have until you actually take them home so it might take a few resets. Finally the higher level bracket variants have somewhat low odds so you might be spamming the reject button for a while until you have one you like show up. There are also some variance on what the tuner comes with depending on what pool of randoms you choose. Uni student tuners have successor while generic student or highschool student tuners are random.

Not Mara that's for sure. I'd lean toward either Amon or Sraosha. Amon has workable resistances out of the gate and you once you cover the ice weakness isn't too bad. Physical leaning stats also make raising mantras easier even if the skills he learns by level aren't particularly exciting. Sraosha on the otherhand has kinda mediocre resistances but at least the only real weakness is easy to cover. The selling point of Sraosha is that it can learn a bunch of supportive spells that otherwise would be locked behind end game mantra that you won't reasonably be able to unlock until 70-80 and eaters are really more suited to support anyway. As far the other two go, Baal has a bunch of physical weaknesses which means you pretty much have to sit in the back row but his magic resists aren't too bad while Mara will always be weak to either status or instant kills and has a massive fire weakness. For female PCs, the options are a bit better. Ishtar might have physical weaknesses like Baal but comes with better resistances to status/instant kills. Valk has similar weaknesses to status and IK as Mara but drains fire and has good physical resistances to somewhat make up for it unlike him. Siren is a bit worse than Sraosha but similar. FemMara is basically the same as male Mara and there is no saving her.

Yeah, that's what it does now. For me it starts normal then doubles the window size the first time I click on it. I don't mind it because doubling the size is how programs are supposed to work on a Hi DPI screen, and indeed text is now much clearer, but it did mean I had to halve the window size on the emuera.config file, so it now starts at half the size before scaling up.
Try doing that, divide the height and width by the % of scaling you're using.

Does anyone has tips on proper training in eramegaten? The tips in game says to get the rotor and go at it but it doesn't feel efficient. Should I put in some SM shit into it? Should I train past willpower 0? The annoying part is having to tip toe around trying to not get hate mark'd. I want muh harem army.

Having to grind to get to the stuff you want is how era games operate, you're going to need several training sessions before you can do fun stuff because of how the game mechanics work. The rotor is indeed mandatory to use at the start.
In my experience making progress in exchange for one hate mark is worth it because only one is relatively easy to remove.

Caress and light toys like the rotor to build sensitivity to make other training easier. Kiss is good for dependency and after the first fall state, love exp when combined with bride play. For service pleasure exp a clit or nipple cap combined with various tit jobs is pretty efficient. Don't bother with actual sex until you reach affection to avoid hate marks. You can train until stamina runs out without issue, just rotate around who you are training or do some dungeons to let them rest.

Basically you just need to raise sensitivity. This is the easiest fall state. Similar to love you can use toys and caress to start. For easy abnormal exp you can take their virginity while filming via cowgirl, although you will probably have to warm them up first. Just summoning tentacles, using an expansion balloon, or urethra play are also easy ways to get it.

Honestly I don't bother because of how easy it is to go too far and break them. It's a pain in the ass in general because of how much stress things generate.

Spamming kiss by itself is way more efficient for obtaining love EXP. (Using kiss by itself takes 20 willpower for 1 exp, while using kiss with bride play consumes 20 stamina and 40 willpower for 2 exp)

Thanks for the tips. I assume there is not much difference between the fall states except for the dialogue? I might want to try the slave route for certain annoying sluts from the main games. I just mentioned the willpower thing because I remember reading somewhere that after it is 0 all good gems get halved and it also is easy on the stress so you can train them more often.
