Far as i can tell, the only downside is cost. material wise it shouldnt require anything significantly hard.
Sanhui only charges an extra $50 at this point for the jaw and have expanded it to almost all their heads above 145cm.
It does seem to require some redesign on the heads or way of making heads, so other vendors offering it are being really slow to expand.

it is difficult to put into smaller heads, but the same goes for articulated fingers and other high articulation stuff.

The best thing you can do is grab a tape measurer and measure our a 3 x 3 space in your closet. And/or a 3 x 6 space on the floor. Then secure that location. The 3 x 3 space should be lockable if at all possible. If not then it should be a pain to get to for everyone else but you. And it should look obvious to anyone that you would detect intrusion. Same applies to floor space.

If you cannot take your doll out to clean in the bath then measure out that 3 x 6 space regardless. This will be your maintenance space. First up first nut of the day with this thing.

The best way I can describe this hole is "cushy". There's barely any texture in most of the mouth, except for the tongue and there's a TON of padding around the whole thing, so you push past the teeth and just get enveloped in loose warmth. Next up the Dolphin 2 Hard.

I started out INTENSELY disappointed in this toy, for a couple major reasons. First it's labeled as the "hard" version, and if this is hard, I assume the soft version literally melts at room temperature because this thing is incredibly soft. As a result you don't really feel the texture as much as you get occasional *pops* as you pass by one of the ridges in this toys labyrinth of a hole.
As for the sensation of the weird design, it's just okay, since it's so incredibly soft. I really didn't feel much on this thing for most of my time with it, and kept rotating it trying to find that perfect angle where I'd push past the ridges and get some actual sensation.

The best thing you can do is keep her clean, oiled, and sealed with powder. Get a little powder puff for spot powdering. They work great. For joints there are guides where people do literal surgery.
