It's the square titties that gets me. or the boobs at all. If they only make a couple body types, made it so the body wasn't based on the clothes (disappearing legs), made it less angular it would be great. Even old games from that time look better. What did you find generic about it?

Back when Mabinogi the things you seem to think are generic didn't exist in most MMOs yet:

1. Randomly Generated Dungeons
2. A non-turn based non-auto attack based combat system that forced you to actively use defend/counter/attack/etc because the enemies would too
3. Different enemies had different tactics. Some would rush you, others would strafe around you, others would try and get you to come to them to walk into their counter, windmill or defense they'd even taunt you
4. Night and Day caused different things in the world like mana regening slower/faster or the moon gates and sun portals
5.Your pets weren't just something that followed at your side like in many MMOs they even had inventories and the ability for you to write an AI for them to get them to behave to your liking I ended up with five different AIs I liked that I'd switch between based on the encounter at hand
6. Later dungeons in the new world that opens up in gen 4 and beyond offered far more strategy like enemies that would dispensary or become intangible not to mention it adding things like melee charge, magic area shields and things - again they were randomly generated
7. Skill to this day, outside of the obvious windmill spam (which isn't viable anymore in the late game, but was when most people started playing) the combat was very user based. It was all about how well you could make things work. Yes your skills mattered but what was even more important was how well you used it. Players that knew what they were doing really stood out and could do things most couldn't dream of.
8. Combat was not only different, it was based very much around not getting hit at all. Armor and stats on armor mattered but many people didn't need armor they went with clothes because what mattered far more was your ability to manipulate combat to the point you rarely got hit because many things could easily one shot you.

These are the worst parts of Mabinogi.
Tanking is impossible, being a support/healer is impossible(also because Mabi lacks buffs) and even in parties, it's best to pretend you are soloing, lest you cause the aggros to go all weird and kill everyone. It leads to everyone being able to do everything because they have to do everything since no one else can do it for them.

Think you're one confused bro. The hardest of Mabis dungeons can't be solod even by the best of the best. You never got outside of soloing foidh for 4 or soloing alby Intermediate for 4. Nevermind that you have to work up to the skill level of being able to solo those. There's no chance you got to the point of being able to solo those without forming a tight group at some point that you fleshed out your ability to play your character with. Once you do get there, you still have the dungeons they made specifically to require groups. Past Gen 4 you had all sorts of dungeons and amongst them dungeons and difficulties that to this date no one has solod. There are still plenty they implement that are soloable because it's a good game that realizes you don't always have a group with you, but the group required dungeons and difficulties are there.

Mabinogi is one of the most social mmos of this type you can play.

Please though keep making things up.

You never learned how grouping in mabinogi works. A good team works in ways other MMOs can't even touch. Four people at corners is early levels hit. End game mabi group combat requires massive amounts of pinpoint timing and coordination of skill uses to prevent getting overwhelmed by waves of badies. It's not people at four corners, it's people next to one another sometimes some in front holding baddie soff with others behind using ranged or magic. Others involve stacking windmills or timing charges or magical shields.

You know fuck all about end game mabi combat. It a glaring fucking wound in your argument that you understanding of mabi combat seems to be ciar adv level at best.
