A Southwest US Gensokyo that's a lonely ghost town, with a red camel youkai, weird native american gods, skinwalkers, and a sheriff girl who keeps the law.

A New England Gensokyo that is full of witches and lovecraft monsters, or a Northwest Gensokyo with giant redwoods, tree octopi, and bigfoot.

I'm surprised that no one has ever really bothered trying to explore what a foreign Gensokyo is like, it seems like it could have loads of potential.

I said it's one of the *better* fanfictions. A lot of them are obvious trash just looking at the title and description. I skimmed over a dozen pages of titles, because i'm not interested in a lot of them due to yuri or them being way too short.
I'm not going to remember the ones I don't like, because I don't read those past the first chapter, or usually the title/tags. I also don't like crossovers, and really bad spelling / grammar pisses me off. That leads me to a pretty small pool, and guess what? Being meiling was the first thing I read on that site. I didn't say it was the best thing ever, only that I had read it and it wasn't terrible.
