If the reason that Reimu's personality is so different in each manga is because each protagonist sees her differently, then why is Marisa portrayed as someone very kind in the manga?
Marisa in the games is quite rude and tomboyish, but in the manga she is almost the ideal wife. she takes care of Reimu and Alice when they get sick and even helps Miyoi clean up in one episode.

Considering Marisa regularly steals from people and in Satori's manga keeps getting tied up - she must be really well-liked for everyone to forgive her and let her go.

I personally feel that being a thief isn't a big deal either considering that money doesn't exist in Gensokyo. everything is done through the exchange of goods. And Marisa is not the only one who steals or takes things from others.
